به وقت دیگری موکول کردن

باشه برای بعد

زمانی که نمیتوانید کاری را انجام دهید ولی تمایل آن را دارید و آن کار را به وقت دیگری موکول میکنید از این اصطلاح باید استفاده کنید
مثال: would like to join us for a meal? I have to take a rain check on that. Thanks

بمونه برا یه وقت دیگه. یه سری میزنم بعدا.
Would you like to come over and have a cup of

Thanks, but I'm kind of busy right now. I'll take a rain check.

If you say you will take a rain check on an offer or suggestion, you mean that you do not want to accept it now, but you might accept it at another time.

I was planning to ask you in for a brandy, but if you want to take a rain check, that's fine.

take a rain check = اصطلاح هست به معنای اینکه پیشنهاد کسی را محترمانه رد کردن

مثال:
They invited me for a party, but I had to take a rain check
آنها من را به یک مهمانی دعوت کردند، اما من مجبور شدم محترمانه پیشنهادشان را رد کنم
